Caregiver of all ages

40

40 per hour - - Posted Sep 02, 2021

I will provide in-home care for people of any age. I am not able to take on a consistent schedule but I’m good for drop ins, subbing or for special occasions.

Training & Qualifications

I grew up babysitting, I was a nanny in college, a licensed foster parent at one time, and a state-licensed caregiver as well.
I was basically the arms for a woman who could not move neck down for six years. In addition I have cared for elders in a variety of settings, including at a 7-people assisted-living residence, and with individual couples in their homes when I had my own business in Washington State for awhile called Mon Ami Elderly Care. I also cared for my grandma 3 days/week for the last 3 yrs of her life. She passed away at 102 yrs old.
I’ve also done hospice care I formally, including one time I moved into a gentleman’s home and cared foe hi. Throughput his final 3 weeks of life.

We are desperately seeking somebody with the patience to sort through about 5 or 6 mostly working/donated printers, and figure out which ones are working and just need ink (and order or buy the ink...

About Kimberly Pollak of CPF

I’m an outta the box thinker. Always open to creative solutions. I am the editor of the Prison Focus newspaper, elevating voices of people incarcerated in California, and that leaves me little time ...for anything else! Since we have no paid staff so we rely on the community to fulfill skilled tasks. Also, I personally am a bit of a jack of all trades master only of newspaper editing. Also being very ADD I have a hard time finishing many of the things I have started. So I’m often seeing the more detail oriented people help me finish projects or take on the task that I’m not good at. It’s hard to rely on volunteers so I’m going to try this out for a while and see how it goesshow more
