Skype me for a 30 minute planning session for your holiday meal. We can narrow your dream menu down to an achievable plan. You will come out with shopping list, a list of dishes, recipes, and cooking schedule. I will talk you through any questions or uncertainties you have about techniques, balance, service styles, etc. From Turkey to veggie dishes to pies, I've got you covered.
I have personally prepared over 20 holiday for my family and friends, and 20 more professionally.
I will also be available the day of for emergency conversations.
Students of all ages and skill levels welcome.
I specialize in teaching good kitchen practices, preparation, and timing. I have written curricula on homestyle beads, vegetarian and vegan cooking for omnivore palates, soups and sauces, custards, slow cooking, whole foods, and traditional foods. Additionally, I have written cookbooks of homestyle baking and better than store-bought recipes.
Training & Qualifications
I am a le Cordon Bleu trained chef and pastry chef with over 10 years of experience ranging from casino bake shops to farm-to-table dinners to community cooking classes.
