Tips for Life in Canada
5
Coming to visit Canada? Thinking of immigrating to The Great White North? Just curious about how life is like on the other side of the pond?
I'm here to help, eh?
I'll provide a document briefly explaining simple things about our geography, history, health care, culture, education, and more, straight to your inbox as soon as we agree on this deal.
Canada is a beautiful country with 4 distinct seasons, beautiful and diverse wildlife, and a variety of scenery. We are a diverse country, with many cultures mingling throughout each province and territory.
What you've heard is true; Canadians are very polite, and yes, we say "sorry" all the time, and we do say "eh?" all the time, too. Even those who, like me, swore we'd never say "eh" end up surrendering to the Canadian trademark expression that can mean just about anything. Find out more in the document.
Training & Qualifications
I'm a naturalized Canadian. I left Brazil in 1997, lived in Chicago for 4 years, and immigrated from there to Canada, where I have been happily living since December of 2000. Yes, I immigrated to Canada in December, in the middle of a snow storm, which was a lovely introduction to my new home in the Great White North. I'm a proud Canadian who served in the Canadian Naval Reserves for 7 years, and I have fully embraced my home in the Northern Hemisphere (though I'll always complain about winter. Like most Canadians).
