Hello fellow simbians! My name is Sabrina.

I am first and foremost a citizen of the Earth. Secondly, a citizen of the USA. Thirdly, a citizen of the state of Illinois, currently.

I am a perfectly imperfect woman who is always growing and evolving. Currently, I am working on my “unbecoming.” Shedding all the parts that aren’t me so I can be who I was always meant to be.

I am a writer of words (not professionally), a dreamer of dreams, and a lover of life, love, laughter and alliteration.

I am one who believes there is good in all people.

I am one who appreciates the beautiful complexities of life.

I believe everything happens for a reason and that something good can and will come out of even the worst tragedies.

I am one who seeks a deeper meaning and purpose in things.

I am insightful, intuitive, intelligent and imaginative.

I believe in God as a wondrous, powerful, LOVING creator of life who longs to commune intimately with His creation!

I subscribe to no religion.

I long for peace and harmony in the world.

I don’t like to argue unless it’s done playfully.

I am greatly grieved by the “us vs. them” mentality that permeates our society globally. I truly believe that God is too.

I have very little money. No job currently. And expect to soon be homeless.

I struggle with bipolar disorder. It mostly manifests as depression. There have been times the depression has been so severe I’ve been suicidal. Other times I’ve locked myself away from the outside world for long periods. In the past year I have made huge strides in my recovery! But I am finding it very difficult to hold down a job AND maintain my wellness. If I work too much, I am drained of energy both physically and mentally, and I become depressed. If I don’t work enough, I don’t make enough money and am constantly over-stressed, and I become depressed. Either way, I feel I’m stuck in a place I just can’t seem to get out of no matter how hard I try!

I envision a better life, a better community, a better world!

I have great ambitions. None of them involve making money!!!

I am here because I want to do whatever I can do to help make other's lives better, period. End of sentence. Exclamation point!
